RentMate Kampus

RentMate Kampus is a student-to-student rental platform designed to make campus life more affordable, sustainable, and connected. The platform addresses a common problem among university students: many purchase items such as electronics, sports equipment, event props, study materials, and other useful products that are only occasionally needed, leaving valuable resources unused for long periods. RentMate Kampus enables students to rent these items from other verified students within the campus community, creating convenient access while allowing owners to generate additional income.

The platform provides a secure and convenient rental experience through student verification, item listings, booking, payments, notifications, and in-app support. Its initial target market is the 11,000+ active-student community at USM Main Campus, with the potential to reach approximately 2,200 active users at 20% adoption.

Beyond revenue generation, RentMate Kampus promotes reuse, responsible consumption, student income generation, and a stronger campus economy, with future expansion planned across all Malaysian universities.
