uncertainty, low self-esteem, frustration, and unnecessary purchases. Tonal AI addresses this
problem by providing personalised recommendations based on users’ skin tone, face shape,
body mapping, preferences, and current weather conditions. Its key features include AI
analysis, styling reminders, weather-based suggestions, collaborations with apparel brands,
and partnerships with verified creators. The application also promotes body inclusivity by
offering recommendations for users with diverse body types.
Tonal AI generates revenue through tiered subscriptions, one-time style reports, styling
credits, and commissions from brand collaborations. The business aims to secure RM500,000
in funding to support application development, marketing, staffing, data security, cloud
hosting, and other operational expenses. Its financial projection estimates that approximately
3,016 paying subscribers will be required to reach breakeven between months 15 and 20. The
venture plans to expand from 30,000–50,000 users in its first year to 300,000–500,000 users
across Malaysia within three to five years, beginning in the Klang Valley and university
campuses.
