Fear is universal, but what haunts us can change with every generation. For Gen Z, it may be failure, expectations, loneliness, uncertainty, or the pressure to keep up. SATRYA is an original IP company with HAUNT-University as its flagship IP, a supernatural university where ghosts learn how to scare humans.

Inspired by Malaysian supernatural folklore and reimagined through the familiar world of university life, HAUNT-University goes beyond conventional horror by exploring the lives, friendships, conflicts, and fears of the very beings who are meant to haunt us. Through the eyes of Park Chong, Bunga, and Langsuria, audiences discover a world where even those who frighten others have something that haunts them.

The IP is driven by three thematic pillars: FEAR, FIGHT, and OVERCOME. These pillars acknowledging fear, finding the courage to face it, and growing beyond it.

HAUNT-University begins with digital/reels content as its first commercial entry point, creating an accessible way for audiences to discover its characters and world. From there, the IP is designed to expand into fandom, animation series, games, merchandise, experiences, and licensing.

Through humour, character-driven storytelling, and Malaysian cultural identity, SATRYA aims to build an original IP that resonates locally while holding the potential to reach global audiences.
