Dr. Annie Dayani Ahad Abdullah

Dr. Annie Dayani Ahad Abdullah is the Director of Enterprise and Commercialisation at the Office of Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Industry Engagement and Enterprise Development) Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). She oversees initiatives that drive entrepreneurship, innovation, enterprise development, research commercialisation, and industry engagement while strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Prior to her current appointment, Dr. Annie served as the Deputy Director of the Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L), UBD, where she played a key role in developing and enhancing professional and continuing education programmes. She was actively involved in curriculum development, designing industry-relevant training programmes, promoting lifelong learning initiatives, and delivering courses across a range of disciplines. Her contributions helped strengthen the Centre’s engagement with industry, government agencies, and the wider community through accessible and impactful learning opportunities.

With extensive experience in higher education and enterprise development, her expertise includes entrepreneurship, project management, digital strategy, research commercialisation, and industry-academia collaboration. She has played a key role in strengthening UBD’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and has represented UBD and Brunei Darussalam at numerous regional and international initiatives.
