EDC Team Conducts Site Visit to Pulse Grande Hotel, Putrajaya Ahead of IEC 2026

Putrajaya, Malaysia | 3rd September 2026 — In preparation for the upcoming International Entrepreneurship Convention (IEC) 2026, the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) of IIUM has conducted a site visit to Pulse Grande Hotel Putrajaya to review and coordinate the accommodation and venue arrangements for the highly anticipated event.

In the heart of the governing district of Malaysia, the site visit formed part of the organising team’s ongoing preparations to ensure that all logistical, hospitality and event-related arrangements are well coordinated ahead of IEC 2026. The visit provided the EDC team with an opportunity to assess the hotel’s facilities and accommodation arrangements, as well as to discuss operational matters with the hotel management.

During the visit, the team reviewed key areas including accommodation arrangements for participating teams and guests, event facilities, dining arrangements, registration and reception areas, and other supporting facilities required throughout the programme.

The engagement with the hotel management also allowed both parties to discuss the expected requirements and operational considerations for hosting participants from local and international institutions. Particular attention was given to ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for all participants (local and international) throughout their stay in Putrajaya.

As one of the important components of IEC 2026, accommodation and hospitality arrangements play a significant role in supporting the overall experience of participating teams. The EDC team remains committed to working closely with the hotel and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the necessary arrangements are in place before the event.

The site visit reflects the EDC team’s commitment to delivering IEC 2026 at a high standard, with careful attention to detail across all aspects of event management.
