Strengthening Strategic Collaboration Towards IEC 2026

Gombak, Selangor — In continued efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration and ensure the successful implementation of the International Entrepreneurship Convention (IEC) 2026, a coordination meeting was recently held on 9th September 2026 involving the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), the IEC 2026 Organising Team, IIUM Office of Communication, Advocacy and Promotion for Change (OCAP) and Vehicle Management Unit (VMU).

The meeting served as an important platform for the organising partners to exchange updates, coordinate preparations and discuss key areas of collaboration in the lead-up to the upcoming International Entrepreneurship Convention 2026.

The session was graciously attended by Madam Azura Abdul Razak, Director of IIUM OCAP and was chaired by Madam Rusnani Din@Yaacob, the Director of EDC IIUM. This meeting reflects the strong institutional support and shared commitment towards strengthening entrepreneurship development, international engagement and strategic partnerships through the IEC platform.

The coordination meeting reaffirmed the importance of collective efforts in delivering a meaningful and impactful convention that brings together diverse stakeholders from across the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The coordination meeting demonstrated a strong collective commitment among EDC IIUM, IIUM OCAP, VMU and the IEC 2026 Organising Team to work together towards the successful delivery of the convention.

As IEC 2026 preparations continue to gain momentum, prospective participants are reminded that only five (5) days remain before registration officially closes. IEC 2026 welcomes participation from higher education institutions, students, entrepreneurs, organisations and industry players, both locally and internationally.
